- You must be able to swim at least 200 meters to participate in this activity
- No previous kayaking experience is required
- Tandem kayaks are standard for enhanced stability, though single kayaks can be arranged upon request (requiring prior experience)
- Remember to layer up beneath the dry suit: wear thermal underwear (e.g. merino), a warm fleece, synthetic trousers, 2 pairs of warm wool socks, winter gloves (water resistant) and a winter hat
- Please note, there is no toilet near the kayak station
